Mentor Students
Alumni and friends of the department are a valuable resource for current and prospective students, and each other. There are many ways you can mentor students as they make education and career choices.
ENROLL - in VT CareerLink. The CareerLink database allows current Virginia Tech students find alumni in their field of interest. This is a great way to mentor students and network with other alumni to help with their career-related needs.
VOLUNTEER - Many alumni and friends actively participate in education programs that allow them share their career experiences with possible future Hokies.
OFFER - an internship at your company or organization. Internships are a valuable way to contribute to the education of current students and stay in touch with the department.
